Thai Pongal 2018

Every year we come to celebrate Thai Pongal in January. This is an important Tamil Cultural festival, celebrating the annual harvest and thanking the Sun God. As one our aims as a school is to inform our students of our culture as well as language, we organise a fun and enjoyable afternoon to celebrate this festival. We played games and students gave presentations and performances. This is a festival to encourage social cohesiveness and unite people together.

Although it snowed, we still carried on and celebrated this auspicious event.
